William J. Peterson DDS
After receiving a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from the University of Washington, I earned a Doctorate in Dental Surgery (DDS) at the University of Washington School of Dentistry in 1999. Upon graduating, I entered the US Navy and completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) residency at Great Lakes Naval Station in Illinois. I continued my commission as a naval dental officer overseas for three years serving military families in Sasebo, Japan.
Originally from Bellevue, WA, I was pleased to return home and enter into private practice with my friend and mentor Dr. Larry Bouma in January of 2004. My wife Laura and I have been happily married for many years and have two beautiful daughters, Grace and Samantha, whom we adore. I am a committed Christian and strive to bring honor to God in all I do.
I favor a conservative approach to dentistry, focusing on prevention, education and a minimally invasive approach to dental care. To achieve this goal, I employ proven state-of-the-art techniques and technologies including digital x-rays, intra-oral cameras, surgical loupes, diagnostic lasers, and a CEREC 3D CAD/CAM digital impression and milling unit.
I believe communication is essential to success and so I focus on clearly explaining all options and recommendations to my patients.

Donald A. Sunde DMD
A native of the Pacific Northwest, I grew up in Olympia, WA and received my Bachelor of Science in Biology from Concordia University in Portland, OR. After graduation, I studied molecular lung biology as a Research Scientist at the University of Washington for five years before pursuing my true passion: dentistry. I earned a Doctorate in Dental Medicine (DMD) from Midwestern University in Glendale, AZ and then returned to Washington state to complete an Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) residency. As a resident, I served at the Yakima Union Gospel Mission Dental Clinic, providing high quality dental care for low-income families and a new beginning for those rising above abuse.
My wife Anne-Marie and I have two beautiful children, Ethan and Emily. We enjoy introducing them to the great outdoors, whether it be camping in the rain or playing soccer in the rain. We are Christians and strive to live life with integrity, openness and honesty with a commitment to helping others.
I am dedicated to building strong relationships through open communication and empathy. It is my goal to provide a comfortable understanding of all the options and facilitate treatment that uniquely meets the needs of each person. I support a minimally invasive approach to dentistry focused on prevention and the preservation of tooth structure whenever possible.
